ES series

Houses of a typical ЕS series with apartments with enhanced layout emerged in the early 1990s. They were erected in commuter towns of Kyiv — Troieshchyna, Pozniaky and Kharkivskyi.

These are mainly 10- and rarely 18-storey houses with a high engineering storey.

Walls are made of lightweight expanded clay aggregate and floors are made of armoured concrete. Outer panels are painted.

A number of front access doors may vary depending on the house.

Apartments usually have 2 – 4 rooms; there are no one-room apartments. They are separated with high ceilings (2.75 m). Floors are covered with linoleum and kitchens are equipped with electric cookers. Each apartment has an entrance to a balcony from the kitchen and a spacious hall. The residential area of apartments is rather large.

One passenger and one freight elevator are available for tenants. Rubbish chutes are located behind elevators on each storey.

Additional information: Houses of ЕS series are considered rather rare. They look like houses of Т and 96 series. You can distinguish houses of ES series by their long balconies. They are overlapped with an adjacent room because they are wider than the room panel.
